Adewale ("Ade") Audifferen

Ade has over two decades experience spanning Rail, Power, Oil & Gas and Water technologies sectors. He is a seasoned senior executive with more than 21-years industry experience and verifiable year-on-year success achieving profitable business growth objectives within dynamic operating and business environments.

Effective February 2015 (till present) Ade took on a new role as Business Development Manager Africa WEST for Wartsila Finland Energy Solutions. In this capacity Ade will provide business leadership for an expanded Wartsila technology offerings to other countries in West Africa on Power plants and Oil & Gas solutions with specific focus on LNG market development.

In February 2010 Ade was the pioneer Senior Executive (MD/GM Services) for Wartsila Finland’s (www.wartsila.com) newest network Company located in Lagos Nigeria focusing on growth initiatives for the Company in lifecycle energy solutions for the Power, Marine, and Offshore Oil & Gas industry segments. He led a team of more than 120 people in providing services solutions on 1000MW of Wartsila Industrial captive plant, Marine, and Offshore O&G based installations in Nigeria. This was a position he led with more than 20% growth year on year until February 2015 when he was promoted into a new role developing Business in Africa WEST.

Prior to joining Wartsila, Ade had a brief two-year entrepreneurial stint as the pioneer MD of Global Energy Gas & Power Company Nigeria from 2008 – 2010 where he was responsible for developing and executing the Company’s strategy and entry into the Nigeria Power & Gas sector.

Prior to 2008, he was with General Electric Company, USA. While in GE, Ade had a number of different roles in the USA spanning GE Capital (Rail) and Energy businesses. Upon transfer to Nigeria he was promoted Sub-Sahara Africa Services Sales Region GM for GE Oil & Gas Services and subsequently held a number of senior roles ranging from Managing Director GE International Operations Nigeria, to leading the local services contract negotiation on the 2.3GW Fast Track gas turbines equipment purchase & installation between GE and the Federal Government of Nigeria NIPP projects.

Ade holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from The George Washington University, Washington D.C., USA and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from the University of Cardiff, Wales U.K. He has participated in numerous Executive leadership development courses and technology seminars over the two (2) decade span of his career.

From 2008 till present, Ade has provided Advisory services within the Power and Oil & Gas sectors drawing on his vast industry experience in these areas.
